B&B Booking Terms

Booking Terms

1.Arrival/Departure
We ask guests to check in from 5 pm to give us time to prepare the rooms, shop for supplies and walk the dogs. If you arrive early and we are in, you can drop your luggage. Check out by 10 am please.

2.Bookings/Payment
All bookings must be made by people aged 18 or over. Bookings are provisional until confirmed by a non-refundable deposit of 1 night per room. If you book via our website on-line booking facility this does not form a contract with us. A contract is formed when we have confirmed your booking in writing by letter or e-mail. The balance is due 3 days before arrival. For later bookings (within 3 days of arrival date) payment in full is required at the time of booking. Price includes accommodation plus breakfast. We accept payment by BACS, card or cash.

3.Cancellations
If you need to cancel please inform us immediately. We will endeavour to re-let the room and return the balance in full. If we cannot re-let the whole payment will be retained. If guests cannot travel to Holly Meadow Farm because of adverse weather we are not able to give a refund. In the unlikely event that your room is not available due to circumstances beyond our control we will endeavour to provide alternative accommodation nearby or a full refund will be paid.

4.Safety
We have a strict no smoking/vaping policy which extend to the farmyard and farm buildings. Please be aware that we are a working farm. Watch out for tractors, machinery and livestock. If guests have or have just had an infectious or contagious medical condition, we have the right to refuse to accept the booking, cancel the booking or ask the guest to leave immediately if considered necessary, to protect the health of other guests and staff. Please inform us immediately if any condition develops within 4 weeks of arrival or during your stay.

5.General
We do not accept any responsibility nor liability for loss or damage to guests’ property or for personal injury or damage to vehicles parked at guests’ risk. We endeavour to maintain high standards of comfort and cleanliness at all times. Guests must therefore undertake to keep all furniture, fittings and effects in the same good condition as they were found. Guests are responsible and liable for any breakages or damage to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. You will be invoiced for any losses, damage or extra cleaning required. Any complaints must be made to us immediately. No complaints will be entertained after the end of the booking or after the guests have departed.

6.Dogs
Well behaved dogs are allowed BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT ONLY. Orchard Room is the only room available for pet occupancy. Dogs are not allowed on furniture, beds or chairs and need to bring their own beds and towels. Dogs must not be left unattended in the room at any time and are not allowed in the dining room. They must always be kept under control around the farm and livestock. Failure to meet these conditions will be treated as a cancellation.
